Over the last 24 hours, pro-Russian militants in Donbas have fired on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces 52 times, including 38 times in the Donetsk sector.

They targeted Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Mayorsk, Zaytseve and Luhanske with 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems, and small arms.

Compared with the previous 24 hours, the intensity of shooting in the Mariupol sector has increased, four to 14. Here, separatists fired on Staromykhaylivka, Trudovske and Kaplany. They used infantry fighting vehicles and automatic grenade launchers. Snipers were operating in the area.

In one of the sectors, a KamAZ lorry used by the militants was destroyed.

As reported earlier, fighting in the industrial area of Avdiyivka continues. Separatists are trying to return control over the lost positions, which allow the antiterrorist operation (ATO) forces to keep the Donetsk-Horlivka motorway under their fire control.

Over the last 24 hours, six servicemen have been wounded in the ATO area.
