Savchenko's sister back in Ukraine
Vira crossed Ukrainian border, says Poroshenko
A sister of Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadia Savchenko Vira returned to Ukraine.
"Our Consul General in Rostov just informed me that Vira Savchenko has crossed the Ukrainian border and is already on our native soil," President Petro Poroshenko stated via his Twitter microblog.
On Wednesday, Vira Savchenko met with hersister, who is jailed in the Russian town of Novocherkassk. According to Vira, Nadia was working on the documents for her extradition. Ukrainian prisoner said she feared that those papers may be used for her escorting to a Russian prison instead.
Later on, Vira Savchenko was reported detained by RF border guards because of her alleged abuse of a Chechen judge.
