Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau will visit Ukraine on July 9-11, the press service of Ukrainian president reported 20 June .
Ukraine and Canada have completed the five-year negotiations on a FTA in July 2015. The agreement was initialed during the visit of the then Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk in Ottawa. This agreement provides for a gradual (over 10 years) mutual reduction of import duties for most commodity groups, as a result should lead to a 98% cancellation of duties.
It is expected that during the visit to Ukraine Trudeau will sign the FTA an agreement between the two countries.
