No casualties in ATO last day
No Ukrainian serviceman was killed or wounded in Donbas.
Over the past day, Ukrainian army in the zone of the antiterrorist operation in Donbas suffered no losses, defence ministry speaker on ATO Andriy Lysenko told a press briefing on Wednesday, 28 December.
"The good news is that no Ukrainian troops were killed or wounded in combat in the past day," he said.
In his words, in the Luhansk sector, militants four times shelled the positions of ATO troops in Popasna district.
In the Donetsk sector, 15 militant attacks were reported, including the violation of the ceasefire in the area of Svitlodarsk.
In the Mariupol sector, 25 attacks were recorded.
NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov believes that 2017 will be a turning point in the liberation of the occupied Ukrainian territories.
