Poroshenko hails CMCE decision on Crimea as indication of inevitability of Russia's responsibility
The president welcomed the decision on the situation in the Russia-occupied peninsula.
President Petro Poroshenko on Wednesday welcomed the adoption of a comprehensive decision by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in connection with the situation in the Crimea occupied by Russia in 2014.
"I welcome the unique and comprehensive decision of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on the situation in Crimea." Confirmation and the inevitability of Russia's responsibility, "Poroshenko wrote on his Twitter on Wednesday evening.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe supported the resolution of the UN General Assembly on Crimea. The Council of Europe was called to cancel the decision to ban the Mejlis and ban the leaders of the Mejlis from entering Crimea.
