About two thousand believers (police assessment) of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate held a religious procession dedicated to an anniversary of the baptism of Kyiv Rus on Friday, 28 July.

Previously. Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine UOC-KP Philaret held a vigil at the Kyiv's Volodymyr Cathedral, and served a prayer service in the morning. After that, the faithful marched through the streets of Kyiv to the monument to Volodymyr the Great on the St. Volodymyr Hill.

By 13:00 the procession was over. No violations of public order have been reported.
