German broadcaster Deutsche Welle has apologised for its article, in which the conflict in eastern Ukraine was called a "civil war."
"We apologise that this article did not meet our editorial standards – we have amended the text accordingly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention," Deutsche Welle tweeted.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the press secretary of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Maryana Betsa, said the ministry expected Deutsche Welle to correct an article in which the armed confrontation in eastern Ukraine was described as a "civil war."
