Russia’s political prisoner, Ukrainian political prisoner Oleh Sentsov, who has been on a protest hunger strike for 138 days, has been taken to hospital for a scheduled check, the Russian news agency Interfax has quoted the Federal Penitentiary Service as saying.
Sentsov was taken to the Labytnangi city hospital. He underwent an “additional examination” and “his treatment was corrected”. No information is available about his condition.
Ukrainian ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova was told accordingly by the chairman of the council for the development of civil society and human rights under the Russian president, Mikhail Fedotov. However, there is no medical proof.
