An autumn conscription campaign in Ukraine will last from 1 October to 31 December, Ukrainian News has said.
It is planned to enlist 17,960 people, including 9,010 to the Armed Forces, 900 to the State Special Transport Service, 1,550 to the State Border Service, and 6,500 to the National Guard.
This year the Cabinet of Ministers increased the conscription target by almost 3,000 compared with April-May.
Earlier, President Petro Poroshenko increased the conscription campaign from two to three months in 2018. Conscripts do not take part in the Joint Forces Operation in Donbas.
