The Russian occupying troops have violated a ceasefire in Donbas on 10 occasions since midnight. They used weapons banned by the Minsk agreements twice, the press centre of the Joint Forces Operation HQ has said on Facebook.
In the midday, militants opened targeted fire with grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms against the Ukrainian army's positions near Krymske, Zolote, Mayorsk, Krasnohorivka, Starohnativka, Hnutove and Lebedynske.
The enemy used 120-mm mortars near Mayske, 82-mm mortars near Hnutove.
One serviceman was wounded at a position near the Bakhmut highway.
Two servicemen were killed having tripped a mine during a mission in the Donetsk sector.
Earlier in the day, the Joint Forces moved forward by 1.2 km near Volnovakha and took control of an abandoned village.
