President Petro Poroshenko has brought the Ecumenical Patriarchate's tomos granting autocephaly to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine to Vinnytsya. Speaking at a rally in its central square, he said: "And now our church is canonical, so let them [Russia] sort their things out, let them show their tomos… And where is their tomos? Did Stalin sign it?"

No dangerous pollution of air has been registered in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, after a big fire broke out at the petrochemical plant Karpatnaftokhim on the evening of 12 January, according to the city council. The fire was extinguished by 10.44 a.m. on 13 January.

Russia is pulling military hardware to Crimea to block access to it for possible enemies as well as humanitarian organizations, international experts and monitors, Ukrainian Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories Vadym Chernysh said.
