Police in Kyiv have been notified about an unknown box installed at the roof of a building in Biloruska Street. When they came to check the report, a guard of presidential candidate and popular comedian Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the "suspicious" box was installed by unknown individuals.

According to theBabel website, this was wiretapping device installed by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) to eavesdrop a building on the opposite side of the street, not Zelenskyy's office.

A source told the website that the SBU was investigating a treason case but did not disclose suspects' names.

The SBU press service confirmed that the service was carrying out investigative activities in 26, Biloruska Street, but stressed that the SBU was acting "within its competence and in accordance with Ukrainian law and the constitution".

The SBU also said that their activities in the area had nothing to do with any of the presidential candidates.
