The Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) has registered a gradual decrease of Volodymyr Zelenskyy's lead over Petro Poroshenko ahead of the 21 April presidential election runoff. However, it continues to be rather big, at least 30 percentage points.
The KIIS held a so-called rolling survey in the format of the computer-aided telephone interview of a random sample of mobile phone users on 6-16 April.
KIIS director Volodymyr Paniotto said the only drawback of this survey held among mobile phone users is that it is representative of 93% of the population which owns such phones.
The margin of error does not exceed 5%.
The previous regular survey by the KIIS on 9-14 April revealed that 72% of respondents support Zelenskyy and 25% Poroshenko.
