The Easter ceasefire initiative for Donbas put forward by Ukraine and the OSCE has failed again at the Minsk talks, the first deputy speaker of the Ukrainian parliament, Iryna Herashchenko, has said on Facebook.
She added that the proposal to stop shooting as of 26 April did not find support of Russian and separatist representatives.
While Ukraine speaks for the immediate introduction of ceasefire in Donbas, "Russia categorically refuses to accept responsibility for observing the ceasefire by the occupying troops and its puppets".
Herashchenko added that the sides did not reach any agreement on the exchange of prisoners either.
