The trilateral contact group on a Donbas settlement has agreed a ceasefire as of the midnight of 8 March, Ukraine's representative Yevhen Marchuk has said on the air of Pryamyy TV.
"To spare us of any high illusions, until there are no guarantees from Russia, first of all the Russian leadership, Putin or his representatives, there is no hope for too much optimism. The ball is in the Russian court," Marchuk said.
No end date has been set.
