The Cabinet of Ministers plans to change the management and supervisory boards at the national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrayiny and the energy company Ukrenergo, as well as several other strategic companies, Energy and Environmental Protection Minister Oleksiy Orzhel has said, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
"A political decision was taken to change the management and launch competitions at all strategic companies," he said.
He added that current managers may take part in job competitions.
Naftogaz is currently headed by Andriy Kobolyev, Ukrenergo by acting board chairman Vsevolod Kovalchuk.
