Parliament has dismissed Minister for Communities and Territories Development Alyona Babak with 266 votes.
MPs have appointed Denys Shmahal, the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional state administration, to her post.
On 17 January, the committee on the organization of state power, local self-government, regional development and urban development recommended that parliament consider the dismissal of Babak and approve her resignation letter.
Babak was elected to parliament on the list of the Self-Help (Samopomich) party.
She was appointed minister for communities and territories development on 29 August 2019.
