Ukraine’s consulate general in Milan will resume the appointment-based reception of citizens as of 2 March, it has announced on Facebook.

It asked Ukrainians to follow the advice of Italian sanitarian services during the visit to the consulate to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus.

In particular, they should not crowd, keep the distance in communication with other people, use hand sanitizers and, if possible, wear face masks and rubber gloves.

The consulate suspended the reception of citizens and the issuance of documents on 25 February due to an outbreak of the coronavirus in Lombardy.

By the evening of 28 February, 21 people have died of the Covid-19 coronavirus in Italy.
