Members of the parliamentary committee for ecology will self-isolate after MP Serhiy Shakhov has been diagnosed with coronavirus, its head and Servant of the People MP, Oleh Bondarenko, has said.
“As responsible MPs, we are self-isolating to prevent a possible spread of the infection,” he told LB.ua.
According to Bondarenko, all committee members are currently healthy. If they spot any signs of the infection, they will contact their doctors.
Shakhov announced today that he tested positive for coronavirus. He returned from a trip to France and Switzerland on 11 March. The next day he attended a meeting of the parliamentary committee for ecology. He says that he did not enter the session hall.
