The European Gymnastics Union (UEG) has cancelled a number of events in the first half of 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
In particular, European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics, which Kyiv was to host from 21 to 24 May 2020, got cancelled as well.
Other affected events include European Championships in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics in Paris (30 April-3 May 2020), European Championships in Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline in Gothenburg (7-10 May 2020), and European Championships in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics in Baku (27-31 May 2020).
“We aim to move them into the second half of the year and will work together with the Local Organising Committees to find new dates. More information will be published at the end of April,” the UEG added.
