The Ukrainian Armed Forces have had two confirmed cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus by 5 p.m. on 2 April, the Medical Forces Command has reported.
The first to test positive was a doctor at the Khmelnytskyy military hospital. She is in a satisfactory condition. Ten people who were in contact with her are self-isolating.
The second case is a Kyiv garrison serviceman who has been in self-isolation since 23 March after having contacted an infected person. On 30 March, he tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.
He receives treatment at home. His two colleagues were placed in self-isolation.
The total number of coronavirus cases in Ukraine has reached 804, including 20 lethal cases and 13 recoveries.
