The first lethal case of the Covid-19 coronavirus has been registered in Kyiv, mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said at a daily briefing on 2 April.
He said that there were 29 news cases, with the total number reaching 161.
The man who died of coronavirus was 70 years old.
Twelve people in the capital have recovered since the beginning of the epidemic.
