The Center for Counteracting Disinformation (CCD) at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine warns of a possible provocation by Russia against the evacuation convoy organized by the Consulate General of Greece in Mariupol, according to the CCD press service.
In fact, it is reported that the Russian agents may disguise as the Ukrainian regiment "Azov" and strike on the convoy to discredit Ukraine on the global stage.
"Disguised as the Ukrainian ‘Azov’ Regiment, the Russian occupiers can strike on the evacuation convoy organized by the Greek Consulate General in Mariupol. Thus, the Russian side can try to discredit Ukraine on the international stage to reduce the level of support given to us!", noted the Center for Counteracting Disinformation.
In addition, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Russia could be preparing to shell their own territory in order to accuse Ukraine of attacking Russia's civilian population.
