The head of Regional State Administration Oleg Siniegubov stated.
"Active fighting has been going on there for three long hours. The Russian occupant tried to capture the city. But our troops repulsed the enemy and launched a counterattack. Among the losses of enemy equipment are two tanks and two armored cars," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Siniegoubov also noted that there were no losses among the Ukrainian defenders.
Earlier Kharkiv policemen shot down two Russian tanks in the village of Derkachi, which was occupied by the Russian troops.
The Russian invaders landed 120 troops in the Vovchanskiy district of Kharkiv region yesterday. It was disrupted by local territorial defense and the UAF.
