The Russian occupiers damaged 489 educational institutions in Ukraine, 69 of which were destroyed.
This was announced in the Telegram by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation Serhiy Babak.
"As of the morning of March 19, 489 educational institutions in Ukraine were damaged by shelling and bombing, of which 69 were completely destroyed," he said.
"Only in the last 24 hours, 25 educational institutions have been damaged, 5 of them have been destroyed," the MP wrote.
He assured that "after our victory we will definitely rebuild, but we will never forget or forgive. Fascist Russia will be fully responsible for this genocide of education."
