The Parliament of the Republic of Poland strongly condemns war crimes, crimes against humanity, and acts of genocide committed on the territory of sovereign Ukraine by the armed forces of the Russian Federation and has recognized Volodymyr Putin as a war criminal. As the Ukrainian service of the Polish Radio reports, today, the Parliament of Poland approved this resolution.

The resolution was approved by acclamation, which means by unanimous voting.

"The Parliament of the Republic of Poland strongly condemns acts of prolonged violence, war crimes, crimes against humanity, acts of genocide, systemic violations of human rights and other criminal violations of international law committed in sovereign Ukraine by the armed forces of the Russian Federation together with allies under the direct command of President Vladimir Putin," - says the resolution.

The Parliament of Poland addresses all states that recognize the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and right to self-determination of Ukraine to support the initiation and conduct of trials in the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court by all possible means; and to exercise their power in any international organization of which they are members to bring to justice Vladimir Putin, members of the Security Council of Russian and commanders of the armed forces of the Russian Federation for committing these crimes.

"Public evidence of these crimes proves the recognition of Vladimir Putin as a war criminal by the Parliament of the Republic of Poland and the international community," -says the resolution.

Last week US President Joe Biden called Putin a bloody dictator and cutthroat.
