President Joe Biden said he believes Russian leader Vladimir Putin "is a war criminal" for his attacks on Ukraine. During his visit to Rzeszow he met with the representatives of international non-governmental organizations that help Ukrainian refugees and appealed in his speech to the West to help stop the war and help Ukraine.

According to Biden, the West stands united regarding the sanctions against Russia. The set of "unparalleled sanctions in world history" have already been imposed on Russia, the US president emphasized.
He also said that close to 10 million Ukrainians had to flee their hometowns due to the war and almost 2 million children left Ukraine.
"I have met with these children and mothers. You don't need to understand their language, you feel the pain by looking into their eyes... There is nothing worse for parents than see their kids suffer," he said
At the same time, thousands of people were still cut off from humanitarian aid in cities like Mariupol.
"It's unimaginable, we could only see anything like that in a horror movie," he said.
Biden also expressed regret that he is unable to visit Ukraine due to security reasons.
