Due to Russia's shelling of the Kramatorsk railway station, which killed more than 50 people, Luhansk residents are afraid to leave the oblast.

This was reported by the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhii Haidai.

"More than 300 people have been evacuated from Luhansk oblast! About 90,000 people are still in bomb shelters in the oblats's communities. Every day we urge people to leave. The Kramatorsk tragedy resulted in fewer people wanting to evacuate. There are still many children," - Haidai said.

According to him, on April 12, together with the patrol police and volunteers, they managed to persuade and evacuate 107 residents of Kreminna, 115 - Lysychansk, about 60 from Hirska community, as well as 12 people from Popasna and 47 from Severodonetsk.

"For those who stay, traditionally, several tons of humanitarian aid were delivered: food, medicine, hygiene products. The patrol police are already delivering them to the bomb shelters," -said the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration.

He stressed that buses are waiting for those who want to leave the oblast every morning. "Take care of your own safety! If we lose you, then what are we fighting for?!" - Serhii Haidai said.

Russia fired a missile at the Kramatorsk railway station in the Donetsk oblast on Friday morning, April 8.

As a result of shelling on the outskirts of Severodonetsk and Hirskoho in Luhansk oblast on the night of April 12, almost all communications were destroyed. Among other things, the russians used phosphorous shells.
