Vereshchuk: evacuation from Mariupol continues today

Four evacuation buses managed to leave the humanitarian corridor from Mariupol yesterday. They spent the night in Berdyansk and will arrive in Zaporizhia soon. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Reintegration of the TOT Iryna Vereshchuk.

According to her, the evacuation of women, children, and the elderly will continue today.

Boarding of buses - on Shevchenko Boulevard on the ring near the Port City shopping center at 2 p. m.

"The security situation is difficult. There might be changes. Please, follow the official reports”, Vereshchuk said.

Yesterday, the humanitarian corridor from Mariupol did not work as planned - the occupiers failed to ensure a proper ceasefire. Adviser to the President's Office Mykhailo Podoliak and the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the talks with russia, David Arahamiya, said they were ready to go to Mariupol for talks to evacuate both civilians and Azov Regiment fighters.
