As a result of shelling by russian troops in Lysychansk, the Luhansk region, the city suffered damage to critical infrastructure – power lines of 200 kV were cut off. This was announced by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai.
Due to this, according to him, the electricity in Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk disappeared.
The strikes were carried out by artillery and aircraft, Haidai said.
"As soon as the security situation allows, emergency crews will go for an examination," added the head of the MRA.
The amount of damage to the housing stock will be announced later.
As a result of yesterday's air strike on a school in Bilogorivka of the Luhansk region, according to preliminary data, all 60 people were lost.
