Russian invaders changed their tactics in Mariupol to control movement in the city, said the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andryushchenko.

According to him, the occupiers dismantled stationary checkpoints near the bridges and began to use more mobile groups.

"The change in tactics is related to the withdrawal of the remaining occupiers from the city to other parts of the front. Banal lack of resources. Notably, for the second day in a row, large columns of equipment leave the city and its suburbs and go toward Berdyansk and Pologi," Andrushchenko said.

The adviser added that the attitudes of the rushists were "far from the propaganda excitement."

"There is a reluctance to continue participating in the war, especially among the residents of the Donetsk region. There is more talk about the desire to surrender, especially after the news of their transfer to the direction of the fighting in Zaporizhzhia," Andryushchenko added.

In Mariupol, the russian Ministry of Defense began constructing a 5-storey building for military of the russian federation near the road to Mangush. Fortified lines of defense are being built nearby.

The day before, two russian invaders were killed during the demining of the Azovstal plant.
