The first helicopter MI-2AM-1 was purchased with the funds raised through UNITED24, the Ministry of Digital Transformation has said on Telegram.
This is the first helicopter bought using the funds raised through the platform. MI-2AM-1 is manufactured in Ukraine. It costs UAH 23.4 million.
"It can reach speeds of up to 200km/h and cover distances of up to 600km. It will help promptly evacuate wounded fighters from the battlefield and reach the hospital in time for those for whom every minute is critical," the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry also recalled that you can donate to UNITED24 on the official website or on the main screen of the Diia app.
Around 110 countries have joined efforts in raising funds through UNITED24 in support of Ukraine. In three months, over 161 million dollars have been raised through the platform.
