Two people were killed in yet another Russian shelling attack on Dnipropetrovsk Region. Two more men and a woman were wounded, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Valentyn Renzichenko, has said.

Nikopol District came under fore.

"In the afternoon, Russians carried our four strikes on three communities of the district – Pokrovsk, Chervonohorivka and Nikopol. They used Grads and heavy artillery. Fired over 60 shells at civilians," Reznichenko said.

He added that the shelling had caused damage in the communities. The scale of it is being checked. Rescue services and police are working at the site.

In the early hours of 18 September, Russians targeted Nikopol District with Grads and heavy artillery, hitting the city twice. Nearly 30 Russian shells struck it at around midnight.
