The Ukrainian Armed Forces have deoccupied and installed control over the village of Bilohorivka in Luhansk Region, the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Hayday, has said on social media.
He noted that "everyone should have patience, anticipating a large-scale deoccupation of Luhansk Region" because "this process will be much more difficult than it was in Kharkiv Region".
"There will be heavy fight for every inch of Luhansk land. The enemy is preparing for defence so we are not going to 'waltz' in," he added.
He pointed out that residents were waiting to be liberated therefore "the authorities would get to work at once in deoccupied communities".
Bilohorivka came under Russian fire yesterday.
