Today, anti-aircraft missile units of the Ukrainian Air Force shot down six Iranian-made kamikaze drones used by Russia, the Air Force Command has said.
In the afternoon, Russians attacked Ukraine with Shahed-136 kamikaze drones in the eastern and southern directions. As of 6.30 p.m., six drones were destroyed.
Also, in the south, Ukraine's air defence destroyed a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft.
"And we have not started anything in earnest yet," the military joked.
Today Russia attacked Odesa from the sea using Iranian-made kamikaze drones. Two drones destroyed an administrative building in the port area and killed one person. One drone was shot down.
In the evening, the Russian army tried to attack Odesa again with an Iranian-made drone, but it was destroyed by the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
