Russia fired missiles at an energy infrastructure facility in Dnipro. As a result, one person was injured, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council, Mykola Lukashuk, has said.
According to him, the victim is a 57-year-old man, he received shrapnel wounds. He was hospitalized, his condition is moderate.
As a result of the missile attack, a large-scale fire broke out at the energy infrastructure facility and there are serious destructions. Also, more than three dozen residential buildings were damaged in Dnipro, as well as schools and kindergartens.
"During the day, some communities in Synelnykove, Pavlohrad, Novomoskovsk districts and some districts of Dnipro were left without electricity. Power engineers got to work as soon as the security situation allowed. The communities of the region are still without electricity supply. But emergency crews are doing everything possible to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack and return light to the homes of citizens as soon as possible," Lukashuk added.
He added that in Kryvyy Rih District a tractor hit a Russian shell again.
"The equipment was damaged, the driver was not injured. Therefore, I remind you again - be vigilant. If you come across suspicious objects, report them to the police and the State Emergency Service," Lukashuk said.
Due to the shelling of Dnipro, one of the pumping stations of Dniprovodokanal was de-energized. Water supply interruptions were recorded on the left bank of Dnipro.
Air defence forces also destroyed four Russian missiles over Dnipro.
