This morning Russia attacked Kharkiv by firing eight S-300 rockets from Belgorod at it, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Synehubov, has said.
He noted that the Ukrainian air defence forces managed to shoot down some of the missiles. The rest hit the city.
"There are destructions of exclusively civilian objects: a humanitarian warehouse, private houses. Fortunately, no-one was injured. Now all services are working to promptly eliminate the consequences of the shelling," added Synehubov.
Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov said earlier that the premises of one of the industrial enterprises were hit.
