As of 8:30, 50% of Kyiv's housing stock was in emergency power outage mode.
The water supply in the capital has been fully restored. However, some consumers may still experience low water pressure, especially on the upper floors, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported on Telegram.
"We expect the situation to stabilise shortly. The heat supply in the city is being restored. Emergency crews are working in an enhanced mode," the statement said.
The functioning of the networks of all mobile operators directly depends on the power supply. The network will be available in all areas when the system stabilises.
Kyiv power engineers urged residents not to use elevators. During emergency shutdowns, schedules are not applicable, so it is impossible to know when the power supply will be cut off.
