French Defence Minister Sébastien Lecornu will visit Kyiv on Wednesday, 28 December, Yevropeyska Pravda has reported.
It is claimed that Lecorneu should "demonstrate to the Ukrainian authorities France's unwavering support since the beginning of the war on 24 February".
The programme of Lecornu's visit is not yet finalized. It is expected that he will honour the memory of the fallen Ukrainian soldiers during a visit to the monument to heroes in Kyiv and meet his Ukrainian counterpart Oleksiy Reznikov.
