Following the daily report on the security situation in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced an increase in the share of domestic production.
"The share of domestic production is constantly growing. The state enters into serious, long-term contracts with our enterprises, which provide predictability, the ability to recruit people and attract investment. This month, our industry will produce 10 Bohdan trucks for the first time, and in May and beyond, even more," the President said.
The President also listened to a report by Commander-in-Chief Syrskyy on the current situation on the battlefield and the results of the strike on Russian targets in Crimea: "We are still waiting for the final data, but it is already clear that the occupiers have suffered painful losses."
In addition, the head of state said that, according to intelligence reports, following our actions in the Black Sea, Russia is moving ships, including Kalibr carriers, to the Caspian Sea.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported to the President on the completion of the search and rescue operation in Chernihiv and the elimination of the consequences of the nighttime drone attack.
There was also an important discussion of methods to combat Russian propaganda television signals in the border regions: "It is a difficult technical task, but we have our own developments that can cope with it."
For his part, Chief Oleksandr Syrskyy showed weapons and military equipment created by Ukrainians, including BMP-1TS.
"We had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and evaluate new models of weapons and military equipment and the possibilities of their prospective use on the battlefield," the chief wrote.
