On the evening of 29 April, the Russian army launched a missile attack on Odesa. At least 32 people were wounded in the attack, five of them were killed. Another man also died of a stroke after the attack.

On the morning of 30 April, the head of the RMA, Oleh Kiper, said that the death toll had risen to five. A man born in 1960 died in hospital.

"23 people are being treated in medical institutions. Eight people are in serious condition, four of them are extremely serious, including a four-year-old girl. Our doctors are trying to do their best," he said.

As of 20:56, the number of wounded increased to 28. "Currently, we know about 4 dead and 28 injured, including two children aged 5 and 16. The victims are being provided with medical assistance," the Prosecutor General's Office said.
Update. As of 19:25, two people and a dog were killed in a rocket attack in Odesa. Eight more people sustained injuries of varying severity, including a 12-year-old boy. Doctors are providing all necessary assistance to the victims.

"Eight people were wounded as a result of the Russian attack. There is damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. All relevant services are working at the scene," he said in a statement.

According to LB.ua, as a result of the Russian shelling, a fire broke out in the estate of Serhiy Kivalov, which is also called the "Harry Potter castle". 

Also, the head of the public council at the Odesa regional military administration, Serhiy Bratchuk, said on Telegram that the Russians had hit the city with ballistic missiles.

"The missile had a cluster-type warhead. It was this warhead that first opened before hitting. Ballistics," Bratchuk said in a statement.
