On 9 June, a Ukrainian military aircraft attacked a target in Russia for the first time, Sky News reported, citing a source among the Ukrainian military.

A Russian command post near Belgorod was shelled. It is not known what kind of ammunition was used.

"Although damage assessment is still underway, it has been confirmed as a direct hit. This is the first time the Ukrainian Armed Forces have attacked a target in Russia from the air," the media outlet said.
