The death toll from a Russian missile strike on Sumy on 17 November has risen to 12, the head of the city's military administration, Oleksiy Drozdenko, said. According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, more than 70 people were injured.
The SES, the National Police, and the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office also reported on the consequences of the attack .
The SES reported that a 9-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, 5 women and 4 men were killed.
‘Seventy-two people were injured, including 60 adults and 12 children,’ said Artem Kobzar, head of the regional administration.
Ten multi-storey buildings were damaged. About 2,200 windows were broken. Cold water supply has also been restored.
18th and 19th November are declared Days of mourning for the victims of the 17 November attack in Sumy.
