Ihor Savichenko has produced more than 20 feature-length fiction and documentary films, including When the Trees Fall, Independence Day and Brothers: The Last Confession.
Volodymyr Yatsenko is a film producer, military officer and co-founder of ForeFilms. His portfolio includes such films as U Are the Universe and Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
Also among those invited to join the Academy is the American producer Michelle Mizner, who worked on the films 2,000 Metres to Andriyivka and 20 Days in Mariupol.
An invitation was also extended to Craig Renaud, the brother of documentary filmmaker Brent Renaud, who was killed in Ukraine in March 2022. Craig’s works include the film Armed Only with a Camera: The Life and Death of Brent Renaud, which chronicles the brothers’ work covering events in conflict zones.
