Russian forces struck the city of Balakliia in the Kharkiv region. Two people were killed in the shelling, and two others were injured.
This was reported by the head of the Balakliia Military Administration, Vitalii Karabanov.
"According to preliminary information, two people were killed as a result of the shelling. Preliminary reports indicate that two people were injured. They are in hospital, where they are being provided with all necessary medical care," Karabanov wrote.
A fire broke out at the impact site.
The attack also damaged roofs and windows in private homes.
