The antiterrorist operation (ATO) HQ has said in its regular update on Facebook that the situation in the ATO area has improved significantly.
"The militants used arms against Ukrainian servicemen only 17 times. All incidents of "full cease-fire" violations were registered near occupied Donetsk and on the Horlivka-Svitlodarsk salient," it said.
Most shooting attacks involving firearms and various grenade launchers took place near Maryinka.
Firearms were used to shoot at Ukrainian servicemen near Pisky, Opytne and south of Avdiyivka. A sniper was operating in the area.
North of Horlivka, the separatists used firearms to target Novhorodske and grenade launchers near Mayorsk. East of Luhanske, they fired with anti-tank systems. An anti-tank grenade launcher was used near Troyitkse on the border between Donetsk and Luhanks regions.
Full cease-fire, effective as of 14 January, was agreed at the recent meeting of the trilateral contact group on a Donbas settlement.
