The ceasefire for the of May holidays announced in the zone of the antiterrorist operation in Donbass did not last long as militants resumed fire at dusk Tuesday.
In the vicinity of Zaytsevo, Luhanske and Avdiyivka on the Donetsk direction, the militants fired at the positions of ATO forces using small arms and grenade launchers of various systems. In Avdiyivka, the Russia-backed separatist used IFV-installed heavy machine guns, ATO press center reported via Facebook.
On Mariupol direction, the enemy fired rocket-propelled grenades and small arms in the area of Hnutove. Also were activities of an enemy sniper.
In the previous day, the terrorists six times violated the Easter ceasefire agreement. The enemy used unmanned fighting vehicles.
In the morning of 4 May, there were reports of shelling of Ukrainian army lines from small arms and rocket-propelled grenades near Novotroitske and Luhanske.
