None of Ukrainian servicemen was hurt amid 22 attacks by pro-Russian militants in Donbas on 16 April, the antiterrorist operation HQ press centre has said in its evening Facebook update.
In the Donetsk sector, the militants fired with 82-mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicles and heavy machine guns against the defenders of Pisky. They targeted the Ukrainian army's positions near Vodyane, Verkhnyotoretske and Avdiyivka with grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. ATO strongpoints near Novotroyitske and Maryinka came under fire from grenade launchers and small arms. The militants fired with armoured vehicles near Vodyane and heavy machine guns near Lebedynske. Grenade launchers and sniper rifles were used near Shyrokyne.
In the Luhansk sector, the militants used infantry fighting vehicle guns and grenade launchers near Luhanske, grenade launchers near Krymske and heavy machine guns near Novoluhanske.
