The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has retained its forecast for Ukraine's GDP growth in 2018 at 3.2%, but downgraded the forecast for 2019 from 4% to 3.3%, according to the World Economic Outlook published on 17 April.
The average annual inflation forecast for 2018 was downgraded from 7% to 11%. In 2019, Ukraine is expected to face 8% inflation.
The IMF also downgraded the current account deficit for 2018 from 3% of GDP to 3.7% of GDP, for 2019 from 3% of GDP to 3.5% of GDP.
In 2017, Ukraine's GDP increased by 2.5%.
