A mission of the International Monetary Fund will arrive in Ukraine in the coming weeks, Ukrainian Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Tymofiy Mylovanov has said.
"The director of the IMF's European Department, Poul Mathias Thomsen, has just confirmed that an IMF mission is returning to Ukraine in the coming weeks. We continue active cooperation to work out policies aimed at maintaining macroeconomic stability, achieving a breakthrough in structural reforms and significantly boosting the potential of national economy," he said on Facebook.
Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk confirmed the news.
Earlier, he said he expected to sign a new programme of cooperation with the IMF in December.
